DECK LAYING

Decking is a type of wood flooring installation where the boards are laid parallel to each other, creating an aesthetic reminiscent of a ship's deck. This style is commonly used in both classical and modern interiors, adding elegance and style to the space. When laying the floor, each subsequent row is shifted by at least 200 mm relative to the previous one. The length of the planks ranges from 600 to 2400 mm.

Features of the decking

1

Parallelism of the boards

The boards are laid strictly parallel to each other.

2

Absence of a pattern

Unlike other laying styles (e.g., herringbone), decking installation does not create geometric patterns.

3

Base

The surface must be perfectly level. A concrete screed or plywood is used.

4

Visual simplicity

It creates an illusion of space and orderliness.

5

Aesthetics

An elegant appearance that adds coziness to the interior.
